We have completed a scientific experiment in alpaca, and we’re talking about it.
The knitting:
Jan has riffed on the Valtigarth shawl in creating a blanket for a baby soon to arrive. She has been working up the Talitha Beanie as well, which is a little gnome-y. This is a theme, because Jan has been engaging in gnome knitting, participating in Imagined Landscapes' Year of Gnomes. And then there is the Shirley Paden Design-A-Long, because Jan is nothing if not an ardent knitter and learner. Her design idea sounds like something I would knit. And wear.
